Hi guys!

Just read through the thread that trashed the timely delivery of plans to the guy in Norway.

I'm just a Newbee and didn't even know such a service was available through OLF.

I would be very interested in these plans (regardless of how long they took to be delivered!!!) and was wondering where I might find a list of the OLF plans that are available.

Point me in the right direction, Please.

Greg

Greg,

Look at the "masthead" at the top of the page. There are nine links there,
including one that reads "Library of Plans".

That used to link to a page about the plans. I think the
"guys in charge" took the link offline pending resolution of the
plan printing logistics issues.

I know that there exist OLF plans for an SJ (similar to but not identical to
a Gibson J-185), an OM, and I believe, a slope-shouldered dreadnought.

I believe Michael Payne is responsible for drawing up all three of these.
The SJ plans are "killer". I haven't built from the others so I can't speak from
experience.

I would suggest "stocking up" when they become available again.

And thank you Michael, Lance, Brock and anyone else who has worked
to produce and distribute these (the thread alluded to by Greg was a real low
point in the history of this forum, in my opinion, especially if one took notice of
how much time Lance and Brock have been spending had-holding folks with
password issues).

Cheers,

Eric (trying to upgrade my wood status)

Eric

Yep, the link is no longer available. That's too bad

Lance... I hope the technical difficulties with these plans is sorted out soon.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to have access to this archive.

Much appreciate all that you've done to keep this forum up and running.

Don't let a couple of sore heads keep you from keepn' on.

Best of luck... Greg

whatever issues there may be on the delivery of the plans, they are very detailed and professionally delivered rolled up as opposed to folded...well worth the money..

Greg

Here are the three guitar models the OLF Libary of Plans offers of mine. Once it opens back up and runninng anyway!

These are not images of images from the plans but are just basic dimension sheets I offer to clients during quotation process. The plans do not include cutaway detail as everyone does it a bit different

I get shivers even bringing this subject up, BUT we have begun the preliminary work on a new
commerce site for the plans as well as another yet to be announced system for timely delivery.

We are going to try to 100% automate the printing, rolling and shipping of
them.
It will be some time before we are up, but I feel that once were there, Brock and I can breath a sigh
of relief, as fulfilling these things has always been more difficult than it ever should have been.

One thing that I want to make VERY CLEAR is our undying thanks to Michael. Regardless of all the issues past and
present with printing, producing and delivering, we feel Michael has left his personal stamp on the OLF like no other!
For these plans have been the launching point for many a budding guitar builder here at the OLF and since there have been
so many of you that have built using Michaels plans, detailed accurate help is almost always seconds away when a question is asked.

SO, thanks once again to our pal Michael Payne!

OH ALSO! I brought this up a few months ago, and someone PM'd me with an offer to help, but I cant remember who.
I would LOVE to build a gallery for ANY AND ALL guitars built using OLF Plans and ONLY OLF plans.
It would have to be something that you could register for and upload and manage your own pictures. If anyone out there would be interested in lending a hand with this project, I think it would be the berries! What a tribute to the OLF and also to Michael it would be eh!

Any takers?

Thanks again for all of you, and your patients with Brock and I. You guys and gals Rock!

I received my OM plans yesterday, and I would like to say I couldn't be happier with them. They were well worth the cost and the wait. As soon as they become available again I will be purchasing more. Thank you for all of your efforts.

Ben

PS - I have already started to build!
