Hi guys. Been really busy since the show but thought this may be worth showing. It's a 143 piece red tail hawk at 2.5" across by 1.25" high on a classical headstock. All the feathers, wing tips, tail feathers and tips are separate cut, and even he head is six teeny pieces of brown lip, black, and gold pearl. Some under .5MM in width, just over 1mm in length. Thanks for looking. The new site is still a problem, but should be up one of these millenniums. I'll let you know when it is. Craig L |

This was fun to do, actually even with all the teeny tiny pieces only two were dropped or lost the entire time! Next up to bat is Amazonian clown frogs, trout, and a modern master "copy".. Thanks as always for looking. Craig |

Careful, I'm starting to think you just made that in photoshop. Or is that 4x oversize instrument? I spend a fair bit of time near red-tails in my other hobby, and I think you nailed it! |

Dude! Very cool. If I tried anything (let alone an inlay) with that many tiny pieces I'd go terminally cross-eyed! It is a testament to skill and patience. |
