My son is going to be a junior at the U if Iowa in Iowa City. The recent floods there didn't fill his basement bedroom, but it did get wet and while his violin was up out of the water, he called me tonight to say that it was MOLDY!

He loves playing -- it's a great stress relief to him as well as great entertainment for friends. He is an accomplished classical player, and this is quite a concern for him. It's a better than average violin that I purchased from a work colleague when he was in 8th grade.

Can anyone give us advice on how to rescue this instrument? Please email us at cdu@hotmail.com or rdurbain@hotmail.com ASAP.

Regards,

Clair Urbain
