I am still thinking this thickness sander through. Can a flat belt sander (not a handheld) be used for the task? I am thinking like the "roll your own" sander idea. Seems if one had a "pressure guide" above the sanding belt that was adjustable in height, it could work (and be less prone to valleys compared to the drum type). Mike |
