Hi Guys.
Here it is with sizes and dimensions, etc.. The headplate is a stew-mac- ebony.
Materials are silver, MOP, pink mussel shell, rainbow-ish colored black pearl (look at the dorsal area- AKA top) , black pearl and gold pearl.
Height is 9" width is 4".

It's bigger, more splashy, more point of view-ish..
One of a kind never to be repeated.
I can add a fly and line if needed. This was designed for a non truss cover headstock.

Craig, I always get excited when I see a post from you with a new and beautiful creation, but since the new site went up I can never see the images. All I see are little blue boxes with a question mark inside. What am I doing wrong? It doesn't happen with most posts, but mostly yours, Craig. It's disappointing because I'm missing some beautiful work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm on a Mac (Safari), by the way.

Maybe it's because since my personal site has been relatively dead I have been using photobucket to get images up? Maybe your firewall won't allow it or something?

Hopefully soon I will have a new website with all the past years works on it ( it's been that long.. )

I'll let you now when it's up.

I have the same problem here at work. Our firewall at work has that site blocked - apparently there's porn on the site.
If the are uploaded directly on to the OLF, I can see the images.
I'm always forced to wait until the evening when I get home to see them, which is a shame, since I too really look forward to seeing your latest creations.

Don, you're right. It's the firewall. Since I'm the default (mostly AT fault) IT guy here, I just went in and turned off the content filter on the firewall. Now I can see all of Craig's naked fish. All I have to do now is add the OLF to the trusted sites list and the problem goes away permanently. Don, you want to take over the IT slot here?

There used to be a way to upload here directly but they got rid of it??

Since my site has been such a problem it's now transfered to everyone else.
I have a years worth of improvement and fully new art not being seen by anyone but the people here. I'm glad at least you guys see it but there are many potential clients going to my site who are only seeing old work that do not originate from here.
THAT is frustrating.. But hopefully it will all be resolved soon.

You can still upload directly on this site. Scroll to the bottom of the "Post a reply" window, and in the "Upload a file" area, click on <Browse>. It will open a window on your desktop, like the old system, select the file, which must be smaller than 256K in size, but that works fine for some pretty detailed photos, though I have to resize mine from about 3mb to the 256K or less size. Select the one you want, click, <Add the file>, wait for the download and the screen refresh, scroll to the bottom of the reply area, and click on <place in line>, it will place the picture where ever the cursor was last. You can then move it if you choose. You can upload 7 0r 8 pictures per post, I can't remember which, but if you need more, just create a new post.

Also, that is a beautiful inlay. I love it!

Don it was designed for a specific headstock originally, and I wanted to keep it clear of the tuners. There may be some new art added to it that fills it out a bit more. Stay tuned.

You've alluded that you appreciate Larry Robinson and his work. I'm somewhat ashamed to tell people that I do inlays after viewing your work (which I have been for a while - hope you don't mind, I named you in an article for the `Ukulele Guild of Hawai`i newsletter, in the same sentence as LR, GL, HL, etc).

Very tight, very clean, very much an inspiration. Thanks for always sharing.

Grit, Harvey and the others may be artful and full of color, and great in techniques, but Larry is just flat out an inlay machine. That, and he's as nice a person and mentor anyone could ask for.
He's the entire dream inlay package. I don't appreciate him, I admire him seriously.

I got to host him at my house for a week and we had a great time. We have since become friends, and he is always there with guidance and support.
Larry is the best.
Of course the other guys are also wonderful, talented and are really class acts, but I got to know Larry, and he is worth knowing.

I agree. I met him at the NAMM show the other year - ONE guy showed up before me, talked for 2 minutes, then I had him for the next 45. That 45 minute conversation elevated my ability to do inlay 10-fold, in addition to getting his book (the newer version) from him.

I can't even imagine what 1 week was like for you.

Oddly enough, its because of that conversation that got me interested in Laskin, and his engraving, which is a completely different skill, as you already know, and do very well also.

Please keep the inlays coming.
