Last Saturday night I had the pleasure of a visit from Dave Anderson - we just moved down here to Spring Hill Florida last month and Dave and I have been conversing about a get together, so we finally pulled it together... [:Y:]

Dave brought up a few of his guitars - a Walnut SJ (from Michael Payne's plans) and an L-00 - These guitars are spectacular! [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

I had a couple other new acquaintances in as sandbag guests - these guys work at the local Quality Guitars here in Spring Hill and are both killer guitar players with a lot of background - the younger guy you see in the pics is my new guitar instructor...He paid a very high compliment to Dave, saying the SJ "plays and feels like a Larrivee..."

Here's pic of Dave, standing next to his SJ being played by Mike...

Here's one of Mike and Marc, arguing over who gets to play the SJ next...

My wife made us a great feast with steak appetizers, corn, pasta salad, and the beers were flowin'...

We rounded out the night putting Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival on the big screen and watched in awe as Buddy Guy, Clapton, Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughn, and Hubert Sumlin swapped leads on "Sweet Home Chicago"...

good times....good times...
