FWIW, i've used Caswell's 14" Canton Flannel wheels successfully on several USL lacquered guitars.

the wheels i've used from them are these:

I can check with them and see what they would cook up for us.

I am using the 14" Canton Flannel buffs. I double them up and gang two together.

Well, thanks a lot guys. Now I have a buffer coming my way ;)

1100 RPM, 3/4 hp, stand, and 4 Canton Flannel buffs.
