I found this thread via the Guitar ReRanch forum tonight. Ron Kirn takes us through every detail of building a strat from blanks and a neck from our very own Bretski and USA Custom Guitars.

Details include the woodwork, finish, and setup.

Isn't it? I love following building logs. Taking pictures is one thing, but making them internet ready is a pain in the butt. I'm really happy he went to so much effort to share them.

I liked it right up to the point where he recessed hardware after he had a finish on it. That just does not make a nice clean finished product in my opinion. Up to that point, I thought it was amazing execution.
