The action at the 14th looks a little high....... Seriously what an extraordinary accomplishment!!!! And the tuners are just over the top cool too. Smoke on the Slow Drip would sound pretty cool on one of these...... |

Very nice. It really is hard to tell how small it is in some of the images... until you look at the size of the pores. So glad I don't have to fill those bad boys. |

I had the pleasure of handling that little guitar last weekend in Nazereth, PA at the MartinFest. It really is truly awesome! I couldn't get over the precision made miniature tuners! Its case is pretty neat too! Jan, the owner of it, presented it to Dick Boak to put into the Martin factory museum. And this is the photo of Dick setting it up in one of the showcases. Rod |

It was the tuners that got me. That was when I sat there, in a shocked trance for half an hour.... What an amazing project! |

I felt his pain when he said that some bridge pins popped out and were simply *gone*. Boy howdy can I relate to that. Every inlay project has that element in it for me, but I can't imagine working to that small scale. Amazing. Thanks Howard, cool post! Steve |
