http://www.luthiersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10108&t=18454&p=260846#p260846 Link to Tony Ferguson's work on the successful OLF 2 Guitar Project. Oh Hank! Tony, Looking good. What do ya'll think of Tony's work? Just want to say thanks to all who've been a part of this project including Tony! There's always room for more. We could use a couple folks, one to create and produce a snazzy lable and Presentation Certificat to hang on the wall, and maybe a couple folks to donate toward shipping the guitar to the West Coast of the USA and then back to Middle USA for presentation. |

616-842-4114 Tony sent me his phone number. While I can't speak first hand for his work, others here have. A search on the OLF will likely pop up some banter by those who have used him on their projects. Any way, he volunteered to do the finish for us on the OLF 2 Guitar Project and hey, that sounded like a pretty good deal, having a pro do the finishing. I found a few finish pics Tony did: I think that was just the second page of seven on the search. Wow, can a human really do this quality of finishing? |

James, I have to agree, and hey, that is just one coat! BobZootmanC, I happen to know that wood is familiar not only with you but all your torture machines that make zoot happen. Just nothing like a good pomele sapele or mahog, purty stuff.... Okay, I've been emailing Tony, trying to get to know more about him and stuff. You just have to pry this info out of him. He lives in Michigan and near Lake Michigan. I'm sure he said the name of the town but I forget... ahh, found it, Nunica. I'm utterly thrilled to see the swift progress. Life is good when you are making guitars. |
