I have just finished glueing the braces on top and back of my first build, an SJ body. However I have no ideal as how to or where to start shaping/carving the top braces. I would really appciate if you guys can show me bracing on your Small Jumbo guitar and maybe even some measurement/demension.

Thank you, David

Here's what I do:

X-brace- 5/16 x 9/16
Transverse brace- 3/8 x 5/8
Tone bars- 1/4 x 7/16
Others- 1/4 x 1/4

David my friend here is one I completed in early 2008:

All braces below the UTB are .28 thick and shaped into triangular cross sections. The X intersection is about .500" high before it was capped with a 1/16" cap.

The sound hole supports are 1/8" high and 1/4" wide.

The UTB is .500 wide and 5/8" high.
