Post subject:  Round or Flat?

I have been reading several threads about carving braces and could not help but noticing how so many people have these Ibex finger planes. These little planes look cute and fun to use, and so reading little more about these planes, I found that they come in round or flat bottom.

Which do you have and use?

Thanks, David

I use flat the bottom ones....
Can't see the need for a round one.

Use a curved bottom one, but mostly because I'd already bought it to carve tops and backs with (electric carved tops)

Both...Flat for braces, curved for carved top electrics.

Same here. Curved sole works well for scallops too.
