I have a logo that I'm going to use on all my guitars - and I'm wondering who I should be talking to about doing them onto headstock overlays for me. I'd like them to be the same (as close as possible) every time.

The logo looks like this:

Maybe I'm not thinking clearly - but I thought if I could find someone to do them onto ebony (or whatever) overlays for me - then I could have a half-dozen or so done at once and have them for when I need them.

Since I'm a newbie - if I'm making a fool of myself - someone should be kind enough to let me know (HA)

thanks

Thanks for the compliment Hesh.

The logo is actually from a much larger design that includes some aramaic text next too it - but it would be WAY too small for the design on the headstock.

I'm hoping to put the text on a fingerboard of a build sometime soon.

I'm working on a "theme" guitar - and this will fit the theme nicely.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I have two overarm pin routers. I am now going to set one up for nothing but inlay on the size scale of guitar necks and headstocks. On the handplanes I am making, one of the features is a personalized monogram in pearl and sterling wire. By next week, I should have 4 or 5 planes done to go out for beta. I will post photos. I am attaching a pic of my set-up. Just PS,BTW- I was re-energized by my nephew, a recent graduate from Berklee-when he started I gave him a new, "held back" Guild premium maple Jumbo( same day I gave my brother, a pro bluesman in Cleveland, my personally autographed Lucille- it was my daughter, Sarah's, wedding day here in Iowa). Now, I want to make him a guitar. I really love that young man and want to do something special for him. He tried to give some lessons to uncle Mike- like Rembrandt teaching a house painter.Image
