 Post subject: Making a side pattern

Does anyone recall a TUT one of our fellow luthiers did on making a pattern for sides? I thought I saw it on the forum put I can't find it again.

Thanks Chuck. It was in the section on sides. Go figure. BTW is there a preferred sequence for contouring the sides: before or after they are bent?

I'd say it's easier to contour the sides before they are bend, you just have to make sure you bend them based on the right alignment mark (most use the waist location) and you have to bend a right hand side and a left hand side.
