I like the idea of adjustable saddles on acoustic guitars, just haven't thought of how to do it yet. ![]() ![]() |

For what its worth, according to the description, it has individually adjustable saddles for each string. http://www.topshelfmusic.com/S9911080006.jpg |

I shuddered, I cringed, I frowned, I sat watching in amazement, I muttered to myself.... "Holy _______" ... all the while tapping my feet and kinda bouncin' in my chair to the music. Sometimes an idea can be a dangerous thing.. especially when accompanied by an old Floyd Rose saddle, a humbucker pickup and a drill... ![]() ![]() ![]() Just think what he'd be capable of with a proper set of tools.... My son has left a bunch of old electric guitar parts laying around.... I think I'll go and sort through them.. |

The music with the video was pretty cool. The Floydvino didn't sound so hot to me. I vote hatchet job but, hey, it's his guitar. |

My exact words when he pulled out the drill..."Ohhhh, Nnnnnnnooooooooooooo!" ![]() I assume it sounds like crap with that big chunk of metal weighing down the sound board. I hope it wasn't too expensive a guitar. Or they guys got too much money on his hands. |

I hope he's got the camera rolling when he pulls up and yanks the bridge right off the top!!! |

I think the guy is on to something there. A real inovator. But, I'm sure sometime in the future something is going to start cracking. |

I just completed a modification to my friend's Rainsong. I machined a bridge and saddles out of aluminum and installed LR Baggs Hex pickups in each saddle. It's very versatile-adjustable for intonation and height. It sounds great. Check out David Wilcox's Rainsong on the cover of his CD Airstream. Matt |
