I ran accross this 4 inch Japanese draw knife for $36 today, so thought I would get one for carving necks. I've been using a spokeshave, rasps, etc. but thought that this might be a useful addition. Anyone been using these for carving necks?

I would recommend the mini drawknife from http://www.northbayforge.com/dk.htm
Very sharp!

The "straight micro draw knife" from North Bay Forge is the same one Japan Woodworker sells, which I linked to above. Yeah, it is one sweet tool.
