Post subject:  Question about tinting Acrylic Waterbase lacquer

Does anyone know if Acrylic Waterbase Lacquer can be tinted with Acrylic paint to make an opaque lacquer?

I've used Stew Macs waterbased pigments to make opaque lacquer, with Targets EM 6000

Adhesion can be an issue as pigments are added. damhikt- -CW

Universal tints...the stuff they colour paint with. From you paint or hardware store...or you could spend the extra $ at Stew Mac.

The acrylic paint will work but it has fillers in it that you don't really want in a finish.
