I like mine between .090" to .099" depending on the top i use. |

It might help with replies if you ask for model you are building and bridge plate material to be used. Perhaps if you are more specific? I have use 2.5mm EIR, 3mm Maple (OMs), some people use different Rosewoods, BRW, Cocobolo etc. Also some people laminate bridge plates, with or without spruce in the laminate, etc. |

The question is not how thick, but how stiff. Unfortunately I can't tell you how stiff, because I do it by feel. |
