Got Jonathon Kinkeads' build book for Xmas. Have about 50 hours in my first guitar, cleaned up the bindings this afternoon.

Love the rosette, so if this is guitar #0001, then are you indicating that you intend to build more then 1000 guitars? I like the way you think. Nice work, I will look forward to the completed pics.

Thanks for comments, I am having at ton of fun. Sadly I think I am running out years to get to #1000, but you never know. Today I do the dovetail should be fun. T.

It is sapele, have a couple of hundred board feet of really figured or ribboned stock from projects over the last 5-6 years. Will post pics in morning of neck joint. What a day, I love this.

Fitted the dovetail, got the angle correct and straight. Cut the slot for the truss rod. Fixtures worked real well, looking forward to refining them. T
