 In the workshop book Cindy Burton and Jeff Elliot had wood room. My idea is to have a closet climate controlled rather than trying to do the whole shop. And as Steven Wright said in one of his jokes put in a humidifier and dehumidifier and have then fight it out. Wood for coming builds and in process work could be kept there. I wonder if a in process guitar could absorb that much moisture in a work session. I am working in my garage and I wonder if even a large humidifier could combat a concrete floor and leaky garage doors. I have a friend with a gun closet in his shop and he told me it has a light bulb in it to produce heat so his guns don't rust. Has anyone ever tried anything like this? And if so what were the results and pros and cons. I wonder how long it would take for wood to stabilize if were put in this type room? Thanks for your input-Bill the Greenman

I have a room that is a dedicated rh room.I work out in my shop which is air conditioned but not rh controlled. At the end of the work day ,back to rh it goes. The only thing that happens in rh as far as work is concerned is glue up.And if it gets glued in the shop it goes into rh right away to set up.I`ve never had any problems.
