| Post subject: | Stain with Tru-Oil |
Anyone out there used a stain under Tru-oil. I have an ash Tele type body that I was planing to just Tru-oil it, but it has such nice grain that I thought maybe I could pop it with some color. I have never used anything under tru-oil though so didn't know how it would work. thanks John |

I use stain on Ash under Polimerized Tung Oil, that is pretty much the same. Works well! You can use both waterbased or oilbased stain without problem. Francis |
