Teeth work good too. Unless there's CA already in the tube. I actually figured that one out without doing first. I bought a giant box (maybe 1000) of those and a box of the little 1 ounce measuring cups about 10 years ago from a medical supply place for cheap. I think I'll have to restock in about 5 more years. One of the best purchases ever. |

Yeah I've got about a 10 yr supply of those little measuring cups too ![]() That looks like a good trick with the pipettes, I'll have to get some and try it since the ready made skinny ones are so expensive. Another tip: I've also found that if you're using the large pipettes with the skinny tip (LMI or Stewmac, I forget which?) you can fill them with CA and keep using them for about a week or even two. Just turn them tip up and clear the tip after use then store them on the bench with the tip elevated slightly. I don't cover the tip or put anything in it. If the tip gets clogged just snip a bit off the end and it's ready to use again. |

Here's another way to use those larger pipettes and make them smaller. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQvW_nUL ... re_related |

I never gave Todd's method a try but I will later today . One thing I must add on CA is keep a bottle of fingernail polish remover handy . Please don't ask why I mention it . However it is a funny story . I was placing side dots in a fretboard on my milling machine . I leaned to get a better look and solidly placed my hand into a drop of CA. Not only did I glue to the board but also to the vise . I was lucky that the acetone was near enough but it is food for thought. I have also glued my shoe to the floor . We should start a CA dumbness thread . |

If they are twist off I can use a vise grip between my knees . regular caps I have a knack with them . I can pry them with a 20 penny nail I have in the wall. The hardest parts if taking my shoes off when my hands are glued to the table is I can open the fridge door |

I got some #24 teflon spaghetti years ago. It's just the right size to fit in the opening of the glue bottle, and a roll of it will last a lifetime. |
