Get off, or I'll saw it out from under you!! Just got my 11' 11" Woodmaster CT from [url]spectrumsupply.com[/url], and without fine tuning my saw cut a sweet slice off a 10" hard maple with the stock resaw fence. GO GET ONE!! I thought $105 for a band was effin crazy, but my timberwolf band(@$40) choked on this same board. Only resawed about 10 sets(guitar, uke, and mando) with the timberwolf. I may have encountered some bird shot though.

Nope. Mine should be in NY by now waiting for me to get there and put it to good use. 11'11" eh? Same size as mine. Do you have a 19" Grizz?

Fingerstyle, I have g0514x2 and love it, although have never used any other large bandsaw. I remember the big bandsaw thread, and think you have the same one; what do you think?

I love it. Some may say it was overboard, but I have found that with the CT and the big saw drift has not been a problem so far. I'd still like to get it bolted to the floor for a smoother cut, but it's doing pretty well as is with a little bit of setup and some extra hands re-sawing. Doesn't bog down even going through 8" of Brazilian RW, Gabon ebony and macassar. Maple slices like butter. A sound buy indeed for the price. As of now, I would say odds of upgrading to a high end bandsaw down the line is not in the plans. Maybe a smaller one for curvy cuts but that's it outside of maybe wiring the existing saw up as 3-phase instead of 220. Sorry it took so long to answer this question, didn't see it until today. Just got mine back from being re-sharpened. I think it's a benchmark blade when speaking in terms of resawing.

I sent you a pm. I intended to post the reply to this thread....so double ditto.

I paid 11 dollars shipping to get it to the facility (Jacksonville FL to San Raphael CA). Then I paid $44 dollars to have it sharpened AND shipped back. All in was $55 bucks. A steal if you ask me.

Regarding how many times I can get this sharpened, I don't really know but I suspect it's maybe 2 or 3 times max. The cabide on these blades is tiny compared to some others I've used.
