Post subject:  Figured redwood on bubinga - baritone. (lots of pics)
This client liked my first figured redwood/bubinga/baritone that he simply said - make one just like that. What could I say?
This is a double top with lutz under the redwood.
Features include Koa bindings, radial bubinga purfling, my first carbon reinforced neck and a mini radiused armrest.
Anyone like that bubinga?

I love the Bubinga and love the way the Koa goes with it.

Neil,
Tight bends are a problem. It is pretty tough to make that cutaway.
Sanding bubinga is always difficult. Like Tim McKnight says - like sanding concrete.

I should have mention that the bubinga set was from Shane. I believe he has more.
Do not try tight bends with this wood.
