Nice my friend! You defiantly owe my lunch next time I'm in your neck of the woods. It ties together very nicely. I like your bridge shape. Nice to make something you can call your own design and looks like a lot of that.

You guys wouldn't believe the amount of that wood that gets either left on the ground or smashed by machines when they log in this part of the world. It is rarely what they are targeting, not Fir or Cedar. It has to be milled fairly quickly after falling and they don't usually bother. Pretty sad. I have no qualms over going into the bush with a chain saw and helping myself.

Wow, on #10 or 11. You're a machine Lars. That Lutz sure does shimmer eh?

Cheers,
Danny

Lars, that's a beauty. Quilted maple is amazing! I have got some in my pile, and now I am going to have to take a harder look at it. Cheers!

Lars, that is gorgeous. I'm really digging on that bridge too. Please post sound files if possible, I would love to hear her.

Thanks-

Another fabulous looking instrument from your shop, Lars. This is what we have all come to expect from you. You have a fine eye for wood choices and design, and you have the craftsman skills to carry out your vision. I always love the shapes of your instruments. So refined and elegant. So beautiful. To my eye, such a perfect execution of the curved line. I admire your skills.

...and that quilted/blistered maple is fabulous!

Patrick

Congrats, Lars. Just an absolutely stunning guitar! I love the shape and that maple is out of this world.

Well done, Lars! I don't care for the bridge, fretboard end, or headstock, but I LOVE the body shape, and especially the backstrip!

That you all so much for the wonderful words.
Getting better and better at this, still along way to go though. Lots of things I need to improve. small mistakes here and there, that perhaps only I can see. but they are still there and I so long to get one perfectly executed. :? :D

Lovely work and great guitar Lars, it's been interesting watching you blossom as a builder. Oh and yes I'd love to have got my hands on maple of that quality, I have someone badgering me for a quilted maple guitar with an LS redwood top.

Colin
