I think I am going to get another plane while I got the extra money. I ordered the LN Low Angle Jack and the Adjustable mouth block plane and figure I'd add the LN 4 1/2 smoother to round out the set. But my question is, which of the High Angle frogs should I get to start? the 50 or the 55. I will probably add another frog down the road but for now, which one.?

The 55 if you're dealing consistently with very highly figured woods, but the 50 should be able to handle just about everything you can throw at it. I've got a 4.5 with a 45, and it isn't challenged by much.

Thanks, that's the way I was leaning, but since I am pretty green to planes, I'd figure i woud ask.
