I think I am going to get another plane while I got the extra money. I ordered the LN Low Angle Jack and the Adjustable mouth block plane and figure I'd add the LN 4 1/2 smoother to round out the set. But my question is, which of the High Angle frogs should I get to start? the 50 or the 55. I will probably add another frog down the road but for now, which one.? Thanks, Scott |

The 55 if you're dealing consistently with very highly figured woods, but the 50 should be able to handle just about everything you can throw at it. I've got a 4.5 with a 45, and it isn't challenged by much. Steve |

Thanks, that's the way I was leaning, but since I am pretty green to planes, I'd figure i woud ask. |
