Post subject:  Inlay / CA Question

Hi guys,
I recently learned how to inlay zipflex perfiling by routing the channel low and filling with CA,
it worked very well, (See pic below)
My question is,
Do you do the same with rosettes ?? Even wide pieces of shell inlayed for a rosette ??
It makes sense, its a great way to keep everything level and smooth for finishing.
Thanks guys
Gregg

Just done that with my latest rosette!

Routed .005" over depth and have filled with CA. Once levelled I will do it again with the CA.

I do not use CA on the tops on unsealed wood. Especially spruce as the CA often discolors the top. I use tite bond or old elmers white glue . It works just fine.
