I have made some beautiful back and side sets using similar sequence matched veneers and reglueing them in the order they were cut. Not the usual "laminated" back and sides, but acts more like solid wood (IMO). If I didn't have more veneer than I can use in one lifetime I would be interested in the BRW - so far it is going pretty cheap.
At the current prices a person could laminate a back and side set for about $10-20 in materials.

Nope... Almost all the wooden furniture business is gone from North Carolina and Virginia. Can't make it here anymore.
