Good morning guys,
I purchased a couple of rosewood pick guards on ebay,
Is there a supplier where I can buy a very thin two sided
adhesive ??

Hey!

Check out with Tesa, it's a industrial tape company i found recently. Really great stuff.

I think you could just call them and ask for a free sample.

By the way, I have seen in the past double sided tape that apply only glue. That is very thin.

Good luck,
Francis

You can get it at scrapbooking stores too. I only know that from pilfering my wife's supplies.

This is more a comment on my own technique than the two-sided adhesive. I used it on a little mandolin pick guard, and thought I had it rubbed down very well. When I tuned the instrument up, the pick guard buzzed against the top at a couple of frequencies. If this happens to you, don't freak out. Warm the area gently with a hair drier, then burnish it down again. After I did that, mine was fine.
