A question for you old timers here. What sort of wood do dealers bring to ASIA Symposium? ![]() I'm interested in 5-10 year air dried sitka and euro spruce; AAA or better. ![]() Thanks, Walter |

With the Fed folks showing up to speak on CITES and such it will be interesting to see what wood is out on display this show. |

Judging from past experience - there will be no shortage of great topwood - from Bob, Carl Barney, and others. The only place I'd expect you might find "aged" topwood is in the ASIA auction - my understanding is that more of Larry Sifel's estate will be sold. last time there was a lot of mystery topwood that was certainly aged - a lot more than 5 years. I didn't win the lot, but the generous guy who did was willing to sell me a set at his cost. Lovely stuff. |

I don't know if Brent Cole will be there or not, but he had some fantastic sitka and bearclaw sitka the time I went. And Uncle Bob is always a good bet for stuff to look through too. |

Hello Chris - LMI, Is your spruce kiln-dried or air-dried? |
