Bruce is great, but if you're interested in more garden variety Koa (less spendy), I've heard that Kerry Char has a bunch. I haven't spoken with him directly about it, but a mutual friend has told me as much. Ken Jones Mountain Song Guitars |

Sorry the client didn't follow through! But for others interested in koa-- Plus 1 for Bruce at Notable. BTW, he doesn't list neck stock on his site, but when I bought a koa B &S side set he was very helpful in picking out some neck stock that matched and the price was reasonable. Also, Bob Gleason at pegasusguitars.com usually has some nice sets for sale, and is a good source for very curly koa binding at prices better than some. |
