Here is the latest Luthier Tips du Jour video. - In this video I show how to drill six bridge holes in a straight line using the LMI Bridge Drill Jig. This is the old version of this jig. Hmm, a cross slide vise is infinitely adjustable, covers any spread at the bridge and you can angle the bridge pin holes. Just sayin'... |

If you are only concerned with keeping the holes in a straight line you can do that by clamping a fence on the table of the drill press. The jig helps you maintain the same distance between holes as well. |
