Got a Gibson Les Paul SG 100 with TronicalTune.
One of the tuner buttons is broken.
Looking for a replacement button source.
Looks like a Kluson single ring, marbled, but the hole is for a round splined shaft.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

I don't know about the buttons, but there should be some low-cost replacement units being sold on the used market...for a year or so, we were taking them off LP's at 2-3 per month.
