Recently at VIGF, the Lee Vally rep gave me a piece of torrefied maple, with the suggestion to use it for bridges. Well, I managed to nab a few for future use, maybe. ![]() ![]() Naturally, not every woodworker understands the specific requirements of us fancy pants loofahs, so a pair of potential bridges was about as much as one could ask if this sweet brick. ![]() Yet, there is use still. Except right now it’s too small. Needs to be doubled... ![]() Hydrophobic or no, it gets a good dunking... ![]() Add a bit of trout from Tunkwa Lake (my dads first fish after donkeys years of unsuccessful efforts, an adventure story for a different forum)... ![]() A dash of salt, butter, fish seasoning, lemon, and parsley...add good wine and better company, and voila! ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
