Just.
Quick (rubbish) pic, sorry, hope to manage better, later.
The guitars on the left and right are, if not completely finished, playable and ready for the North East Of Scotland Open Workshops which starts tomorrow morning.
Thanks for those who wished me the best.
P.S. the Redwood was really worth all the trouble I had with it, sounds pretty good from the get-go.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

They look great! Have a good time this weekend and possibly post some sound clips when you get a chance. Especially like to hear the redwood topped guitar.

Glad it all came together,

They look great and I look forward to more detail shots!

I tried to look up the event you are attending with limited success. What is it exactly?

Cheers, M

North East Open Workshops is a sort of upmarket (read quality) craft fair in the NE of Scotland, getting quite big now.
Started 2003, this year 166 venues, quite a few with several artists.
Many regular visitors from different countries time their holidays for the event.
