Just a heads up for anyone needing some clamps. Lowe's has a sale on Jorgensen 6" clamps in a 6 pack for $22. I picked some up, they seem like traditional Jorgensen clamps.

Thanks for the post, James! Around here, they're out of stock, but can be trucked to my home for $80. Go figure. [headinwall]

I bought a set of those and really like them, but just be aware that they are rather small. Sort of a baby F-clamp.

I have 2 of those and a whole raft of the regular Jorgensons (3700 series?). These a re slightly lighter duty and don't open quite as far as the standard ones, but for guitars, they are the perfect size and the perfect strength

I wonder if they come out of the same Chinese factory as the HF clamps. Paint them orange and charge a little more?

I'm surprisingly happy with the HF ones. Rarely do I need anything bigger and they are plenty strong and about the same price.

I have several large sets of small clamps old HF wood handle, handle, craftsman wood, bessey wood handle. HF new rubber handle , and the jorgensens. IMHO these are the best of the small clamps . the rubber pads come off , but can be glued with thick superglue

I want whatever the Lowe's folks are smoking. The store local to me doesn't have these. They can be delivered for only an additional $65.00. Somebody's tinfoil hat needs some maintenance.
