Is the intent to be a flush cutaway? |

meddlingfool wrote: Is the intent to be a flush cutaway? On the front side it should be flush, however since I’m tapering the heel there will be some real estate back there. I’ll need to bind that top edge I think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I used BWB and figured Bloodwood binding (it has a lot of dark lines in it... pretty rad) MAN that bonding was brittle, but I FINALLY got it installed without too much hair pulling. Here are some pics of the back scraped down. There are still some high spots (but I was getting tired by this point) Happy w my mitre! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nice looking job. The binding really pulls it all together. |

Parts are roughed in! Neck and fingerboard extension will fight just right against the cut away. Next step is finalize neck shape / fit and all that stuff:) Neck isn’t fitted or attached... just laying in spot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I really like that fingerboard inlay. And that katalox (figured?) wedge gives it a cool look. The bindings and inlay work nice on it. |

If you mean the THICKNESS... they were .80 before sanding down flush. So something less than that. I think they appear thicker from Being rounded over maybe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It must just be the pics then, they look a lot thicker then that, and yes I didn't mean the height of them. |
