A little while ago someone was asking about buffing in the corner when you have the neck on.
Like I said it should be just as shiny as the rest of I tried to take a few pictures to show it here.

Felt bobs and a multi-tool ???

I am using the same 14" buffs that I do the rest of the guitar with....
The only thing I change is instead of using my usual double buffs ,I remove one which makes the buff more flexible.

It's just a matter of really getting into the corner as tight as you can. I apply a good amount of pressure-but not so much as to burn the lacquer.

I suppose one thing I learned NOT to do is aim the buff directly into the corner, in hopes that a jammed buff with enough pressure will reach into the corner. I found buffing perpendicular to the side as well as perpendicular to the heel created a better finish. You can vary pressure and angle a bit to splay the buff edge into the corner. It takes practice. Buffing this close to the corner while perpendicular to the side has the added hazard that the neck is perilously close to the big nut on the buffer. I had to hit it a couple of times before I learned!
