I need to replace the lower tire. There is a wide range of prices on the Internet, so I assume also a wide range of quality. I would appreciate recommendations for a good source.

Urethane for sure, I used http://www.suffolkmachinery.com on my old 17" Parks saw and was happy. Haven't changed out the rubber tires on the 19" Griz yet.

Sulfur grove is the manufacturer for many of the urethane tires. Usually cheaper and faster to order direct.

Installation can be tricky. Soaking in hot water helps a lot.

Guessing the tire is off the machine or the rubber is cracking...
If not you might be able to dress it.

So you need a new one,
Are you getting a pair?
Have you folks ran different tires on each wheel?
Did they have differing cambers?
Can you dress urethane if need be, like you can with rubber ones?

Suppose I might be overcomplicating things, as you can dress the other one to match, if it turned out to be actual problem.
