Good morning. I've spent too long this morning trying to think of what this type of connector is called. I'm memorizing the McMaster Carr catalog but not getting closer to what I need. :D

It holds the foot of the bridge clamp caul in place but also lets it spin freely so that the foot stays in place while the bolt is turning. I started with swivel bolt, but that's not it!

Like the pad on a C clamp ?
Maybe - a swivel pad known as toggle and swivel-foot pad.

Too bad I didn’t see this earlier. I just made a set of these cauls and couldn’t figure out a way to have movable feet that o liked. I ended up just taping the threads in a mild steel bar and I laying that into the bottom of my caul. I then added a sacrificial price of thin hardwood that is only screwed in the center to get pressure on the wings. I always make a clamping pad from thermoplastic to match the top is the bridge so I could get away with the bottom of my caul being flat.
