Very nice! That bear claw top looks great. I'm going to be installing very similar purfling for the first time on the instrument I'm building now. Seeing how it looks on your guitar makes me glad I decided to go with it. |

Put me on the like list; the instrument, and bearclaw. Isn't that your first slothead? Do you like adding different things on each one, or do you make some of the same, to try for improvement? I like so many different things, I'm starting others before I'm halfway done! |

I like pretty much every aesthetic choice you made on that one! Very nice. Did you carve the pyramids yourself? I've done a few of those now. They're fun, and I love the look. Slot heads, no cutaway, no pickguard, pyramid bridge, body shape something other than a D. Right up my alley. I mean, I like lots of different styles of guitars, but this cluster of choices is where I am spending my time right now, too. Right on! |

That said I will bring it toward the nut just a tad next build as the strings BARELY touch on this one. Beginners mistake. |
