26-1/2” scale tuned down to B....

I make up my own sets of strings by buying individual ones. They go from .066 to .014

No, that tailpiece is made by the National company.
They are the only ones who make a tailpiece like that as far as I know.
They’re expensive - $85

Ladder bracing? Ebony looks really black by today’s standard. Old stuff?

Very nice,
Once the top gets some color the rosette will really pop. The old Stella 12 string I had, had edge purfling as wide as some rosettes. Yours has a whole different vibe.

Very nice Brad. Is that big leaf? I like slot heads on a vee. When they are LONG too, they look even cooler.

I wondered about the tailpiece with the permanent bridge. I think I saw another lately like that. Does it make for a stronger, more reliable setup. Especially with monster strings? It would not have the pull right behind the bridge twisting it. So then the sound is basically just from the strings themselves? Is the tailpiece glued down?

And I got that fretboard from LMI about five years ago it is very black actually.
The head veneers and bridge is older stock

It is hard maple with Birdseye figure.
The bridge is not glue down it floats just like an archtop guitar just the string tension holds it in place.
It does sound different then the pin bridge version but not a huge amount difference still has the same exact body size so the same size air chamber same string length strings all that .
So instead of the bridge pulling up it’s pushing down so it’s a whole different animal

I keed, I keed! You are good with a camera too. And even when one is not good with a camera flaws tend to show up. That's a great looking guitar. It's truly good, man. ;)

Yes, The top has a mild lateral arch-not a dome.
