So the instructions for Brite Tone say to spray with temps between 65 and 75. Nearly impossible here in Texas this close to summer. Would it be acceptable to spray in the morning when the temp is lower (assuming the humidity is around 60%) and then move the item into the house to dry? Then rinse and repeat until I get the required amount of coats (planning on 10-12). The house stays a pretty constant 73-75 with humidity around 50%, just can't spray in the house.

I think those instructions apply mainly to what's happening during and immediately after spraying...e.g. if you lay the coat on in good conditions you probably don't have to bring it inside unless you want to...there will still be solvents flashing off during curing so I'd suggest if you really feel the need to bring it in then take it to the garage. being out of the direct sun is far more important than the actual temperature

the issue with high humidity is that if the finish sets up too quick the moisture can get trapped and cause blushing (turning white)...high temps don't let the product flow out and level itself and in extreme cases I guess it can start to dry in the air before it hits the work. low temps are also an issue but I've found that placing some 500W halogen work lights (with sealed lenses) in the area works fine and in a pinch (you've got a schedule, you're spraying in the garage, it's below freezing outside and the 8 halogens you've got spread around aren't enough) pre-heating the product works great...never tried putting a rattle can in a pot of hot water though, just my spray gun cup

I did a Z-poxy inlay pool (like clear mastic) on my arch top in the winter in my basement. It isn't supposed to work. I got it warm with the heat gun, and poured the poxy in. Then I finished it with 2 thin coats of Z-poxy, with a couple bits of oil paint on a toothpick for toning; after heating with the gun. It was probably just below 50 degrees. It worked. I did move the guitar upstairs after the finish coats. It was almost 20 degrees warmer up there.

I didn't follow any rules besides mixing well.

I wonder how it works in the summer!
