Hi, I'm about to buy the classic filtertron pickups from mojotone. After looking at the diagram, it seeams like they are too large to fit regular pickup rings. I'm building a hollow body so there's nothing solid for the pickups to mount onto directly. I'm buying the pickups from Sweetwater so if anyone can direct me to a perfect match from there, that'd be very helpful. It there aren't any, I guess I have to built my own rings.

I would be asking the people who pedal the pups this is not a very active electric guitar forum. Ask Fred at Mojotone or Sweetwater if they sell the stuff they really should know what rings work.

You should be able to get a standard humbucker set and trim them to fit.

StewMac has them. If there is a significant contour to your top you may have to make your own.

Good advice - Mojotone was in an all-out sprint to catch up on back orders last time I checked, but they were still picking up the phone...luxury service in our new viral reality.

The shop where I worked used a woodworking-style wheel marking gauge to scribe the plastic parallel to the outside edges of the ring and a radius template (the plastic drafting tool works, as well as a machinist's steel template) to accurately move the corner radius out to the new line. A razor-blade scraper and a fine-toothed round file did the job, with some very low rpm polishing on the freshly worked edges of the plastic with a felt polishing bit loaded with some medium Menzerna or suitable plastic polishing compound.
