I know this is a longshot but I’m looking for a National 12 string Tailpiece for my Stella type Guitars. They’re the only ones who make it and they’re back ordered for six months.

I know some people make their own and I am skilled enough in metal work to do it, but I would would rather do other things.

It's the same way I feel about making purfling and kerfed linings-LOL

When I built my Stella clone a few years ago I talked to Todd about how he made his, but I ended up buying one from NRP. The latest issue of Fretboard Journal has an article about Jack Tarlinton (Wandering Boy Guitars) and how he makes his.

Yes, I am familiar with both these guys and how they make them,but I am in such a groove with my building that I just don't what to go down that rabbit hole.....

I actually have an antique one, but I I don't want to use it on a spec guitar.

Next time I have an opportunity to buy them I am going to get several so I don't run into this problem again.
