It went from being a great sprayer to crap in a week. I was spraying nitro with color tone dyes. Can’t put down a wet coat. Anybody know why?

Sounds like something has gone south inside, maybe a seal or blockage or ?? If you can't get a wet coat I'd suspect the mixture circuit. I've been using mine for years and it still works great.

I know, probably not much help idunno

Ah. Found the problem. Air hole at top of container was blocked.

I use the cut off end of a guitar string to clear the air hole periodically. I twist a loop in it so I can hang it somewhere handy (sometimes on the gun). If I was more fastidious about my spray equipment it might not be necessary.

I use the 3M PPS system so it's not an issue for me. The bladder that holds the finish collapses as you use it.
