Thoughts, and I am aware of it's toxicity, PPE requirements etc. |

Lots of folks are using it. Some of the top builders use it. |

I highly recommend buying access to the Jeff Jewitt course on catalyzed urethane finish application, available on Robbie O’Brien’s website. It’s really informative. |

Jeff Jewitt tends to post snippets of his process or progress shots from which useful info can be gleaned on his social media accounts too. Worth a look and the guy has probably forgotten more about wood coatings in general than many of us of will learn in a lifetime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What's '2k'? |

Shorthand for “2 component”. A chemical reaction between the two components results usually in additional hardening as it cures, or some other desired characteristic. |

I've posted about using 2k urethane here --- search for old threads. Not everyone has the same goals, client-base, expectations, etc ... So what works for me may not be ideal for you. Here's a link to my website where I explain "why" I chose urethane over the other available options. http://fayguitars.com/Guitars/finish.html |
