Thoughts, and I am aware of it's toxicity, PPE requirements etc.

Lots of folks are using it. Some of the top builders use it.

I highly recommend buying access to the Jeff Jewitt course on catalyzed urethane finish application, available on Robbie O’Brien’s website. It’s really informative.

Jeff Jewitt tends to post snippets of his process or progress shots from which useful info can be gleaned on his social media accounts too. Worth a look and the guy has probably forgotten more about wood coatings in general than many of us of will learn in a lifetime.

What's '2k'?

Shorthand for “2 component”. A chemical reaction between the two components results usually in additional hardening as it cures, or some other desired characteristic.

I've posted about using 2k urethane here --- search for old threads. Not everyone has the same goals, client-base, expectations, etc ... So what works for me may not be ideal for you. Here's a link to my website where I explain "why" I chose urethane over the other available options.
