Curious what speed folks are spinning their radius dishes at? My old set-up was variable speed and I have no idea what the dishes actually spun at. Building a new one. Thanks, Bob |

Martins set up is about 100 rpm but it is also set up on stops so it won't go past the settings I would think 60 rpm would be good not to aggressive but still a good controlled speed I had a rig early with a potters wheel and it was in that speed range and worked ok but was out of round so I just drive the bus |

Driving the bus is a integral part of my guitar workout program..... But seriously, I find that if I cut my sides close to there finished shape on the bandsaw it doesn't take much driving the bus -I use 36 grit on my dome then a little 80 by hand. |
