Hey all I’m toying with the idea of a Lowden-esq next project and wanted to see if anyone might have an outline (either pencil or digital), mold, or what have you, of their F model? I think Kenneth Michael had one, but he’s sadly no longer with us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I bought a set of 12 Martin and Gibson templates from him and he was kind enough to remember I had inquired about the Lowden template previously and very kindly offered to substitute the Martin Terz with the Lowden one. I'm not aware of any other Lowden template he produced. I believe he actually called it "The Irish One" rather than using the Lowden name.Same one as posted here https://acousticguitarconstructionforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3025&start=7 Or you could find a frontal pic and scale it up to the dimensions. |

James I'm no help but wanted to suggest that you nix the double saddle slot. It's not very serviceable AND most pick-ups that use a UST will not work with this design. There are exceptions but it limits you to a small subset of the market. Lowden has been recommending the Lyric because it's a mic and I do believe that there are now a few split saddle transducers but not many. Hesh out |
